In the Name of Jesus
Throughout the ages, the SIGNS and WONDERS God has performed
have been a powerful testimony to the supernatural God of Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob, the God of SIGNS and WONDERS. They have been a living memorial to God
that He is alive, that He is all-powerful, that Jesus is the SON of God, that
He is the true and living God!
We are to stand as a messenger sent by God in the power and
authority in the Name of Jesus.
We are to place our life, in the Name of Jesus, against all
the forces that are anti-God, that hate God, and hate people getting saved. We
do not depend on our own natural abilities, our own strength or our own
knowledge, but upon the supernatural abilities of the name of Jesus.
Prophecy: “Expect many SIGNS and WONDERS to be wrought in
the Name of Jesus, not just physical wonders through the atoning work of Jesus,
but SIGNS and WONDERS that will interrupt the affairs of man and manifest the
true and living God to this world.”
God planned for the entire Body of Christ, especially His
end-time people, to be infused with His power and authority to manifest SIGNS
and WONDERS in His Name. before Jesus ascended into Heaven, He said, And these signs shall follow them that
believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new
tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing , it
shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
(Mark 16:17-18).
Just as God placed the “Rod of God” in Moses hand, giving
him power and authority to part the Red Sea in His Name.
Just as God placed the “Rod of God” into Elijah’s hand,
giving him the power and authority to shut up the heaven in His name.
Just as God placed the “Rod of God” into Jesus hand and
anointed Him with the Holy Spirit, giving Him power and authority to open blind
eyes, cast out devils and raise the dead in His name.
Just as Jesus placed the “Rod of God” into the disciples
hands, giving them power and authority through the indwelling of the Holy
Spirit to heal the sick, cast out devils and raise the dead in His Name.
God has placed the “Rod of God” into YOUR hands, giving YOU
the same power and authority, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, to
perform SIGNS and WONDERS in the Name of Jesus! Jesus did not limit the working
of SIGNS and WONDERS to the disciples. He said the BELIEVERS shall go forth IN
HIS NAME and SIGNS shall follow. This is God’s plan for the Body of Christ,
EVERY BELIEVER being a channel through which God SIGNS and WONDERS can be
manifested in Jesus Name.
5 reasons God manifests signs and wonders in the Name of
Jesus.
1. To
bring glory and honor to God.
2. As
a witness to the world that Jesus is the Son of the living God.
3. To
confirm His Word.
4. To
supernaturally meet the desperate needs of the people.
5. To
deliver the people out of Satan’s hands.
In this end-time Harvest, God
wants to do a new work, He wants to break through every limitation Christians
have in their minds concerning SIGNS and WONDERS being manifested through them
today. He wants to use ordinary men and women, housewives, businessmen, factory
workers, doctors, right where they are, on the job, at home, to manifest His
supernatural power in the Name of Jesus.
God wants to break every
limitation you have formed in your mind concerning SIGNS and WONDERS being
manifest through you.
Say aloud, “God has planned for
SIGNS and WONDERS to follow me.”
Church it’s time to pick up the
“Rod of God’ and go forth in the Name of Jesus to fulfill the work He has
called us to do of evangelizing the world. It’s time for every member of the
Body of Christ to pick up the “Rod of God” and face the sicknesses, physical
and mental problems, family problems, financial problems in their own lives and
in the lives of those around them in the supernatural power and authority God
has given us in the Name of Jesus.
To pick up the “Rod of God” and
allow God to manifest SIGNS and WONDERS through you, your Spiritual eyes must
be opened to see HOW it is possible for every believer to manifest SIGNS and
WONDERS.
Through the blood of Jesus, we
have entered into a covenant where we are one with Him. The Father is in Him,
He is in us, and we are in Him. As we walk in this covenant relationship with
Him, He will reveal His will to us, what we are to say and do. Then, as we are led
by the Spirit and act upon the direction we receive from Him, in the power and
authority in His Name. what we speak will come to pass, SIGNS and WONDERS will
follow!
Jesus told the disciples that it
would be possible for believers to do these same works and even greater works
than these because He was going back to the Father. For a moment, lets go a
little deeper in the Spirit to see the great significance of what Jesus was
saying. There are three things of great importance which were going to happen as
a result of Jesus returning to the Father, which would enable believers to do
the same miraculous works He had done.
1. Satan
would be defeated and the power of sin, sickness, and death would be broken.
[God] disarmed the principalities and
powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in
triumphing over them in Him and
in it [the cross]. Colossians 2:15(Amp)
2.
He would send the Holy Spirit, the
Comforter. To live within them.
Nevertheless
I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not
away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him
unto you. John 16:7
3. He
would return to the Father where He would be exulted to a position of supreme power and
authority, and would be given the Name above every Name.
Jesus stripped Himself of His Divine attributes, His Divine
power, His glory, and came to earth in the form of human flesh. He lived a life
of 100% obedience to the Father. He laid down His life, hung on the cross in
shame and disgrace, for the sins of the world, He paid the supreme price and
obtained the Name that is above every name.
Because He was willing to humble Himself and become obedient
unto death, the Father raised Jesus from the dead, exulted Him to a position of
supreme power and authority, Far above
all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is
named-above every title that can be conferred-not only in this age and in this
world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. And He has put all
things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and the supreme head
of the Church. (Ephesians 1:21-22(Amp).
In the position of SUPREME power and authority over all
things, Jesus was given the Name that is above every Name. EVERY knee in
Heaven, on earth, and under the earth must bow at the Name of Jesus.
EVERYTHING in Heaven, angels, all the principalities of
heaven, the stars, moon, sun, planets.
EVERYTHING on earth, all of creation, every living creature,
the elements of nature, men, governments.
EVERYTHING under the earth, Satan and all the evil
principalities, the rulers and powers of the darkness of this world.
EVERYTHING must bow, EVERYTHING must acknowledge.
EVERYTHIG must obey the Name of Jesus!
There is no greater power!
