The River of Life:
The angel of truth spoke to Bob Jones: "That There's was a great storm coming shortly and that storm would dump so much water in the Mississippi water basin and that the Mississippi River would flow backwards."
PROPHECY FROM BOB JONES:A few months before the floods came to the Midwest in 1994, Bob was shone that floods were coming to "the heartland" as a sign that revival would come to the heart of America. Several times since, he was told to watch where the floods came in the natural because they would indicate where revival would also come.
> Interpretation:The natural often foreshadows what is about to happen in the spirit. This is especially true in the weather patterns as Psalm 19:1 declares: "The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands." Floods come when there is so much rain that the rivers and streams overflow their banks. That God is using floods as a sign of how the revival is coming indicates that He is going to move in such a way that it will go beyond our present boundaries. Just as it became impossi-ble for men to contain the floods on the Mississippi and other rivers, it is going to be impossible for men to control what is coming. We may restrain the river in one place, but that will only mean that there will be a bigger breakthrough downstream. What is coming is going to be much bigger than anything that we can control.
> Application:The Lord is going to move beyond the present boundaries that men have set for Him. Floods will destroy or damage everything that is not built in anticipation of them. For all of the interest and emphasis on the coming harvest over the last decade, there has been little planning and preparation for it. If we have a good flood plan the waters will be channeled into productive use. If we do not have a good flood plan, what would have been a blessing will do damage. True revivals test the quality of spiritual founda-tions. The wise man who built his house on the rock was the one who both heard and acted on the words of the Lord. If we really believe that revival is coming we should prepare for it with the zeal of an army that is about to go into battle.
Many new Christians are going to be born into the kingdom as spiritual babies. Babies need almost constant attention in order to survive. We must equip multitudes of home group leaders who can pray for the sick, cast out devils, and help to lay a strong biblical foundation in the lives of new believers. We should begin stockpiling supplies such as Bibles, Bible studies, teaching tapes, etc. These new Christians must be established in the faith, and incorporated into the local church. The New Testament makes clear that those who are being saved are added to the church. We must preach the gospel while the fields are white for harvest, and we must also have the wisdom to gather the harvest into the barns, taking care of those who are born again into the kingdom.
January 1, 1993 "At the time Bob received the Three rivers vision he was also told about the floods that were gong to come to the Mississippi river area, which eventually did come. He was even told that it would look like another Great Lakes. Even the weather forecaster's used that exact phrase and said it appeared we had another Great Lake in that area. He was given Isaiah 54:2 and in connection with these as well. He even indicated that the Mississippi River would go 35 miles wide which it actually did in the flood of 1993."

"I was further instructed that natural occurrences will reflect Spiritual realities. During this 7-year season we are to observe weather patterns, economic conditions, political situations, and world event as indications of the shaking that will be taking place in the Spirit realm."

Stretches of the Mississippi River may see flood crests at or above levels set during the 1993. Nearing or topping the 1993 crest.
Unusual December Deluges the Tipping Point
"This is probably one of the earliest (times) we've seen flooding on the Mississippi River," said Marty Pope, senior service hydrologist with the National Weather Service.

One in a 500 year flood Mississppi River.
Susan O'Marra: "Had an unusual vision yesterday. Saw a hand reach down over Texas and began unzipping the middle of the US, but this zipper released water. The hand pulled the zipper all the way up to the top of the US. As the zipper unzipped, water flowed all the way up the US. The heart of the US was flooded with water."
This vision can have many applications and interpretations.... but the thing I received the strongest from this was that what the Lord is about to do in our nation, will also bring a release of water, or life, back into the heart of our nation, not only for resuscitation, but for restoration. The "seasons" are going to rearrange...... It's time for national change.........
Many years ago Bob Jones had a profound revelatory encounter in which he was shown the Mississippi River. In the experience he was told of a significant application of this river in the strategy of Heaven. It was portraying the River of the Spirit with specific application to the Lord’s plans for this nation.
Recently, he was given another experience in which he saw the Mississippi River again. Only this time he also observed four evil spirits that were represented by crocodiles. Although he was given a sharp sword to deal with these evil opposition’s, he was instructed to harness their mouths and render them powerless. He put a bridle on their mouths and used their strength to move through the River at a great pace.
That in itself is a prophetic message to the church. Putting a bridle on our mouths can help nullify many of the schemes of the adversary set against Christians through words we speak. Oftentimes we articulate the plans of the enemy when our revelation unknowingly comes from the “second” heaven rather than the third heaven where the plans of God are formulated.
The River was originally intended for fruitful spiritual purposes. Unfortunately counterfeit spiritual authority hijacked the high purpose of Heaven for the River and the Lord is indicating His intent to take back possession of the River. According to Psalms 74:13-14,
You divided the sea by your strength; you broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters. You crushed the heads of Leviathan; you gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness. Psalms 74:13 14
There is a present work of the Spirit to sanctify the gifts and callings of Heaven so that they can be used for their ultimate destiny. Many of the false prophetic voices, the occult and psychics to this generation actually possess genuine gifts that have not yet been sanctified. Once purified, then the gift becomes food of the people. The same is true for many musical and creative gifts that are being utilized in the world rather than its highest purpose. The Lord is announcing His intent to redeem and reclaim those spiritual endowments.
Authority is being given to pull down the strongholds, arguments and every high thing that has set itself against the pure knowledge of God. This is the River that is to be purified. The Bible declares,
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6
The weapons of our warfare empower us to refute unrighteous thoughts set against the knowledge of God. Every proud and lofty imagination that is harnessed against the true knowledge of God will be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. That is the sanctification process presently unfolding.
Unrighteous thoughts do not merely consist of sinful actions that we perceive as incorrect behavior. More fully, it includes any thought process we have that is not consistent with the nature and character of God and His word. These are the strongholds and dominions that attempt to taint our knowledge of God and the plan of heaven for this generation. The Lord’s thoughts for us are lofty and powerful— we must come into agreement with that perspective.
